This is my latest project which involved a dictionary API and a photo API, learning how to play sound when clicking on an image and mastering mapping arrays in React.
This project involved using the SheCodes Weather API and adding animated icons depending on the output of that API. I created the icons myself and assigned them to each weather condition. Based on the time of the day, the icons will reflect day or night weather conditions.
This project helped me practice creating a landing page and making my projects responsive. I had a lot of fun adding effects like images and links lighting up to add a cinema-like feeling to the page.
This was one of my first projects with SheCodes and taught me how to use a basic API to display the weather for any city you enter. It also changes the icon depending on the weather output.
I wanted to include something fun in this one and decided to make it Tardis themed since Doctor Who is all about time. It can change the first of the three cities via the drop-down - you can choose from several different options or select your current location instead.
I made this planner using the SheCodes AI API and prompted it to keep neurodivergent needs in mind. I also decided to include possible costs for activities to allow for better budget planning.
